COVID-19 Protocols
(Revised 05/2023 for info applicable to patients)
The policy and procedures for the office following the COVID-19 Pandemic are outlined below. These are guidelines that our office will utilize to insure the maximum amount of protection for all of our patients, staff, and doctors. These may be changed on a routine basis if we find that the current community health status is also changing.
Masks will now be optional for patients seeking care at our office. This will also be true for our employees.
If any patient or employee presents with symptoms such as cough, sneeze, or nausea we will ask the patient/employee to either wear a mask or have their appointment rescheduled.
If the patient requests that the team members providing their direct care wear a mask, we will happily comply with that request.
We will continue to disinfect any of our equipment that would contact the patient between every encounter.
Please continue to practice social distancing while in the waiting room/optical to prevent the spread of infectious disease.
We have removed the no guest policy. A patient may be accompanied by a guest but please be respectful of the office space and other patient’s space as well.
All eyeglass dispensing is to be done inside the practice to allow for precise fitting and adjustments.
We now do not require an appointment for picking up or picking out your glasses or contacts, however for all other appointments please call ahead to schedule.
We appreciate your continued support during this time and look forward to seeing you all again.
If you or a member of your household is experiencing shortness of breath, coughing, fever, loss of taste or smell, you need to contact your PCP immediately and reschedule your appointment unless it is an urgent need with potential vision loss.
Stay Safe and Stay Healthy!
