Eye care for Kids!

We offer comprehensive vision and eye health exams for children of all ages!

The American Optometric Association recommends that children have a full exam before 12 months of ages, at 3 years old, and then at 5 years old.  They also advise an exam every one-to-two years until the child has completed school.

Did you know that 80% of learning is visual?  That means that if your child has a vision related problem, it could cause them to have learning delays or fall behind at school.

Our office is a registered provider of InfantSEE exams with the American Optometric Association.  This program, which started in 2005, provides no-cost comprehensive exams to infants between the ages of 6 and 12 months old.  It was designed to help ensure that vision and ocular health checks became part of routine infant wellness care.  Early detection of risk factors may help reduce the occurrence of permanently reduced vision or serious health issues.  For best results, the exam should be scheduled when the child is alert and happy, such as after a nap.
