Lens Options

Choosing the right lens options can have a large impact on how well your glasses perform in your day-to-day life.  Every individual has a different set of visual requirements.

Our goal is to understand those needs and offer you the best combination of products to make you more comfortable and productive.

We offer several types of lens materials including polycarbonate or trivex, a thin, lightweight lens that provides UV protection and impact resistance.  These are also scratch resistant, meaning that the lens does not require a coating for scratch protection.  Hi-index plastic lenses are also available if you have a very high prescription; they are designed to give you the thinnest, lightest weight lens possible.

  • Is most of your day spent staring at a computer screen?  Does your office have overhead fluorescent lighting?  Anti-reflective lenses can help to reduce glare on your computer and make the eyes more comfortable while improving your clarity.  We offer the latest in premium anti-reflective lenses, with anti-smudging technology that outperforms previous lenses.

  • Do you spend a lot of time outdoors but hate to carry a second pair of prescription sunglasses around?  Transitions® Lenses offer the best of both worlds - crystal clear lenses indoors that darken when exposed to UV light!

  • If you have trouble driving at night, anti-reflective lenses can also help to reduce glare from streetlamps and oncoming headlights.

  • Are you an avid fisherman who would like to cut down on reflections from the water's surface?  Maybe a pair of polarized sunglasses would be just what you need.  They are available with prescription and non-prescription lenses.

  • Progressive Addition Lenses (PAL), also known as no-line bifocals, can provide you with clarity at a full range of distances.  This is very beneficial if your job requires you to focus on paperwork, a computer screen and people or objects farther away.
